Here is a nice working portable tube radio from the mid 1940s.  This is a Warwick model 1100.  This is a 4 tube battery or AC powered.  The Warwick company was located in Chicago.  The radio is in decent condition for being over 75 years old!  The cloth covering is still in good condition.  The radio sounds great too.  It measures about 11" X 11" X 6".

Here is a nice example of the Zenith luggage style radios they made for the GIs at  the end of WWII.  This is their model 6G601ML.  This is a 6 tube set battery or ac powered.  This one has the sailboat in the grill cloth.  The radio works great!  The cloth covered wood cabinet is in pretty good condition for being more that 70 years old.  It measures about 15" X 10" X 7".

Here is a nice working Philco tube portable radio from around 1949.  This is their model 49-602.  The radio is in good working condition.  This is a very good performer.  It sounds great!  It has a normal amount of scratches for its age.  It measures about 10" X 8" X 5".

Here is a nice working Motorola portable tube radio from the early 1950s.  This is their model 52L3A.  The radio is in good working order.  The radio works on AC but is not tested for battery operation.  The plastic cabinet has a repaired crack on the left side near the handle.  It measures about 10" X 9" X 4".

Here is a nice working Silvertone tube type portable radio.  This is their model 2225.  This was manufactured around 1951.  This is a 5 tube set battery or AC powered.  The radio is in great cosmetic condition and it plays loud and clear.  The case is wood covered with faux leather.  It measures about 12" X 11" X 6".

Here is a nice working Philco tube portable radio.  This is their model 49-602 from the late 1940s.  This is a 4 tube AM band battery or AC powered.  It measures about 11" X 8" X 6". 

Here is a nice working GE portable tube radio.  This is their model 150 battery or AC powered.  The radio is a great performer!  It plays loud and clear!  It measures about 12" X 10" X 6".

Here is a nice working GE portable tube radio.  This is their model 650  AM band.  This is a 5 tube set battery or AC operation.  It is a 1950s radio.  It measures about 12" X 10" X 6".

This is an RCA model 8BX6.  This is a 6 tube set AM broadcast band.  It was manufactured around 1950.

This is a Zenith model A600 transoceanic.  This radio has the AM broadcast band and 6 SW bands.
